Beasiswa S2 PRESTASI IIEF USAID, Master Scholarships for Indonesian Citizen to USA

PRESTASI adalah program beasiswa penuh yang dibiayai oleh United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Indonesia dan didedikasikan bagi calon pemimpin masa depan Indonesia untuk menempuh pendidikan S2 (Master) di Amerika Serikat dan Indonesia (khusus sector Kesehatan).
SYARAT-SYARAT PEMBERIAN BEASISWA
  • Pendaftar harus memenuhi SELURUH persyaratan pemberian beasiswadi bawah ini:
  • Warga negara Indonesia.
  • Bukan pegawai dan USAID/kontraktor USAID.
  • Masih memiliki masa kerja minimal 5 rahun sebelum memasuki masa pensiun,dihitung dari selesainya masa studi.
  • Memiliki skor TOEFL” ITP minimal 450 atau IELTS & TOEFL® IBT yang setara
  • Mempunyai  jiwa kepemimpinan dan berkomitmen untuk kembali ke Indonesia setelah menyelesaikan studi
  • Beasiswa tidakakan diberikan kepada pendaftar yang sedang menerima beasiswa lainnya.

BAJS Postgraduate Studentships for Japanese Studies at UK University

Description
British Association for Japanese Studies (BAJS) offers postgraduate scholarships for international studentsfrom all nationalities to study Japanaese at university in UK.

Eligibility

Application criteria:

  • The studentships are open to postgraduate or prospective postgraduate students of all nationalities.
  • You must have been accepted onto a full-time or part-time course at a UK university at the time when you apply for a studentship.
  • Your dissertation (or proposed dissertation) must be in the field of Japanese studies. For PhD students in particular, it will normally be expected that you will be using Japanese language materials in your research.
  • You must use the award either to contribute towards your fees, your maintenance, or your extended fieldwork. Final-year PhD students who wish to apply for writing-up costs should apply for the BAJS John Crump Studentship.
  • You must be a member of BAJS when you apply. (Please note that student membership is free, or £20 if you wish to receive Japan Forum).
  • Successful applicants may re-apply for a studentship in subsequent years, but please note that we particularly encourage new applications.

How to Apply

Application procedure:

  • Application for BAJS Postgraduate Studentships is via the online application form.
  • Once you have submitted your application online, you will be sent an acknowledgement email with a unique application reference number.
  • Your two nominated referees will also be sent an email with this reference number, asking them to respond to applications@bajs.org.uk with your reference by the application deadline.
  • You must email a scan of a letter of acceptance by a UK University to applications@bajs.org.uk, also citing this application reference number.

The next application deadline is 30 April 2012.

Please note, it is your responsibility to make sure that BAJS receives both references and your letter of acceptance, citing your application reference number, by the 30th April deadline.

2012 – 2013 Global Undergraduate Exchange Program Global UGRAD

The Office of Academic Exchange Programs in the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U. S. Department of State, is pleased to announce a new exchange program for undergraduate students-the 2012 Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global UGRAD)

The Global UGRAD Program provides scholarships for one semester or one academic year of U.S. Study in a NON-DEGREE Program. The goals of the program are to provide a diverse group of emerging student leaders, from non-elite and underrepresented groups in Indonesia and East Asia.

All global UGRAD Program participants will be enrolled full-time in undergraduate course work chosen from the institution’s (US) existing curriculum to allow students ample opportunity for ongoing interaction with U.S. Faculty and student peers, and for exposure to U.S. academic and classroom culture.

To ensure that students succeed in their new academic environments, host institutions will offer tailored instruction on topics including academic research and writing, critical thinking, time management, note taking, and studying for and taking tests. Participants will live on campus with American peers.

Students will also be provided with opportunities to participate in up to ten hours of community service per semester. Additionally, an internship component will be offered to all academic-year participants during the academic component of the program. Internships will be related to each participant’s field of study and/or career plans.

Participants may be eligible for up to 4 weeks of intensive English Language instruction in the United States prior to the start of academic portion of their program.

Eligibility:

  1. Scholarships will be granted to students who currently are enrolled in S-1 degree programs only, and have completed their first semester and up to their firth semester of undergraduate study at an Indonesian university.
  2. Applicants should demonstrate leadership potential through academic work, community involvement, and extracurricular activities.
  3. Applicants must have minimum ITP/IBT TOEFL score of 500-score or IELTS 5.0 less than two years old. In some cases a personal interview by a fluent qualified Native English Speaker who can confirm that the nominee would be able to achieve that score when tested is acceptable. Candidates must also meet all the requirements of the institution where admission is being sought.
  4. Preference will be given to those who have had little or NO experience in the U.S. or outside of their home countries.
  5. Applications can be for either for one semester or two semesters based on nominee’s availability. No applications should be submitted for both one semester and full year programs.
  6. Applicants are required to return to Indonesia after the completion of the one or two semester program.

Postgraduate Research Scholarship, Australian Center for Field Robotics, University of Sydney, Australia

The Australian Centre for Field Robotics (ACFR) Rio Tinto Centre for Mining Automation Scholarship in Field Robotics

The Australian Centre for Field Robotics (ACFR) at the University of Sydney has established a major new Centre for Mine Automation. Rio Tinto, a global mining company, has committed $21 million of funding for an initial period of five years for this new Centre. The aim of the Centre for Mining Automation is to develop and implement the vision of a fully autonomous, remotely operated mine.

The ACFR is seeking students interested in PhD research in the area of autonomous systems, including data fusion, perception, control, learning and systems to be part of this exciting new initiative and apply for a full time scholarship sponsored by Rio Tinto.

There is no closing date for this opportunity. Applications are now open year round and successful applicants are expected to commence at the start of either semester one or semester two.

Eligibility:
Applicants should have a first class Honours degree in mechanical/mechatronics engineering, mining engineering, electrical engineering, aeronautical/aerospace engineering, mathematics, physics,computer science or a related discipline or extensive appropriate professional experience.

Amount awarded:
The scholarship is valued at $27,651 per annum (tax exempt). The scholarship will be supplemented by access to overseas travel grants and other allowances.
